A designer desk tape dispenser, changing the little things to affect the bigger one.

Traditionally pushing down on tape dispensers rely on the sharpness of the teeth's of the blade to cut the tape. Over time and due to wear and tear the metal teeth's will blunt, making it harder to cut/tear the tape. This poses a danger as we will need to exert a larger force in a small area with blunt metal teeth's, increasing the chances of injuring our fingers.

 

Changing the ergonomics of the interaction of a tape dispenser, by tearing the tape with a diagonal upward or downward force we are able to create a hairline tear on the tape making it easier to cut/tear it.
